Two songs off this record started with my instrumentals. “I’ll Be Rested” is so beautiful and emotional. It started with a bit of my dad playing the mandolin in Cuba that I found on a DAT tape which I looped and messed with and wrote the changes around. Its amazing to hear all these heavy people like Mavis and Jim Keltner sing and play on this track that I made one random night at home.
